This home is named to commemorate Dr. Roland V. Stoodley, a long-time Claremont resident, founder of River Valley Community College, and dedicated supporter of our mission and cause. Dr. Stoodley is also the grandfather of the founder of Maverick House. Transitional housing is temporary housing for the working homeless population and is set up to transition their residents to permanent housing. Our referral partners appreciate our prompt and transparent communication. He completed House Mentor Training and began his role in 2019. He leads a fantastic group of men in their recovery journey, offering support and encouragement to each guest. House Mentors and staff lead and support each sober living home; helping to ensure a positive recovery environment for all guests.
